The process

If you haven’t already, book in a call to talk things through. No pressure. No hard sell. Just a chance for you to ask questions, work out what’s going to be best option for your business and see if we are a good fit for each other (you need to get that feeling, right?).

Once we’ve had a chat and established that we could totally be mates IRL (is it just me that want’s that ‘we could be mates’ feeling when working with someone new?), it’s time to get you booked in.
We’ll discuss dates and find an available build slot that works for you (I’m usually booked up 1-2 months ahead, but this will give you time to gather together your content, copy, and branding etc).
You’ll need to pay a 50% deposit to secure your slot and I’ll send over an on-boarding form (a juicy form that pulls everything out of your head and onto paper) and a comprehensive guide to everything that you need to prepare for your new website.
If you would like help with your copywriting or branding, we can get this booked in with my copywriter or brand designer at this point too.

Once you’re booked in, we’ll schedule our strategy and design call.
This is a really important step as it’s where we map everything out to ensure that your new website not only looks beautiful, but that it’s built to convert as well.
We’ll talk through your vision for how the website will look, as well as your content, your branding, your ideal customer and your business goals.

This is when the magic happens. I will get to work creating your home page first, directly in Squarespace. This is the first page to be sent over for review, usually around lunchtime. You will give me your feedback and I will refine it and make sure it’s exactly right before moving onto the other pages.
You’ll then have the evening to look through all of the pages and take your time to review everything. You will need to send me your final revisions before 8am the following day.
On day two, I will work through your final changes, set up your SEO and test everything. After one last review from you, we’ll be ready to launch.

In just 48 hours, you’ll go live with a mobile–friendly, search–ready website. I’ll record a walkthrough video so that you can make future updates quickly and confidently (trust me, these websites are super user friendly), and I’ll be around for seven days post–launch if you need help.

Yes. Thanks to my carefully crafted foundational designs, my 20+ years website experience and a 2-Day Launch process that has been refined and developed to perfection, two days is all we need.
The only thing that is likely to extend this timeline by a day or two, is if you want to add a shop or extra pages over and above the 5 that are included.

You will need to send me your branding, copy, photography and content at least 7 days before your build date (I will send you a guide that outlines exactly what you need to send me and when). This will give me a chance to review everything and get back to you if I think anything is missing or needs tweaking.
I work with an amazing copywriter and brand designer if you need some help with those areas. Just let me know and I can put you in touch.

All of my clients get access to my copywriting guide. It outlines what copy you should include on each page, how to write copy that sells and guidance on finding your own voice.
If you would prefer someone else to write your copy, I work with an amazing copywriter who can translate everything you want to say into beautifully written copy that’s infused with your personality and speaks directly to your target audience.
