Before Studio Emm, I was Head of Design at a fast-paced agency, leading projects for names like the Premier League and Carling. I know how to deliver thoughtful, strategic design that doesn’t just look good — it works hard behind the scenes.
I’ve also built a successful product-based business from my spare room (and with a baby on my hip), shipping out award-winning baby record books while navigating the mum juggle that so many of my clients know well.
That mix of experience — big brands, solo startup, and everything in between — is what now shapes how I work. I get what it takes to run a business while holding down a life. And I know that a website shouldn’t add more noise to that.

The Studio Emm story.
The name comes from my children – their names blended together as a quiet nod to the life I’ve built around this business.
This studio started during nap times. It grew as I realised how many other founders were also doing the juggle – raising families, running value-led businesses, and trying to make everything work on a limited schedule.
Studio Emm exists to support that, with websites that reflect the depth, care, and ambition behind your business, without adding unnecessary layers of stress or complexity.
About me
Hi, I’m Jen.
I’m a mum of two with an obsession for banana on toast, a default setting of sarcastic and a dream to relive my twenties and travel the world again with my kids.
My happy place is in our campervan in the middle of nowhere (ideally with some sunshine) and I once sang at The Royal Albert Hall with Boy George… even though I can’t sing. At one point as kids we had 14 pet rats and for our first wedding anniversary, I booked myself and my husband into a spa… that turned out to be a brothel.
I have a whopping 24 cousins, I’m always late for everything and in the 90s I was hella obsessed with Hanson (I will always love you, Taylor ❤️).
What it’s like to work with me
I’m a one-woman studio, which means you’ll always deal with me directly. I ask thoughtful questions, I get to know your business, I deep dive into your goals and dreams and I I bring over two decades of brand and web experience into every project. My goal is to give you a website you bloody love, one you can adapt, edit, and manage yourself as you grow - without any of the endless tech overwhelm or additional cost (no more wanting to throw your laptop at the wall!)
