This is exactly why I setup Studio Emm. Having spent the last 10 years running two award winning product based businesses, I know just how passionate and ambitious business owners are. I also know how much DIY and poorly built websites hold you back. They cost you in sales, growth and business opportunities.

About me
Hi, I’m Jen.
I’m a mum of two with an obsession for banana on toast, a default setting of sarcastic and a dream to relive my twenties and travel the world again with my kids.
My happy place is in our campervan in the middle of nowhere (ideally with some sunshine) and I once sang at The Royal Albert Hall with Boy George… even though I can’t sing. At one point as kids we had 14 pet rats and for our first wedding anniversary, I booked myself and my husband into a spa… and it turned out to be a brothel.
I have a whopping 24 cousins, I’m always late for everything and in the 90s I was hella obsessed with Hanson (I will always love you, Taylor ❤️).
I’m also a really good website designer.
Ever since school I’ve loved anything creative, with a real passion for art and computers. I’ve worked as a graphic designer for a big Manchester agency, created wedding stationery collections and designed and sold my own luxury baby record book.
But my love of art, design and computers really joined forces when I discovered website design whilst at university. Over the years I have built websites for photographers, consultants, event planners, social media managers and small businesses, each project teaching me more about great website design and the importance of being strategic.
I now draw on my 20 years experience to create bespoke Squarespace websites that not only look really, really beautiful, but that hinge around my client’s goals, looking at their business objectives, their target audience, their conversion strategy, user experience and SEO. I pride myself on building websites that help business to thrive and grow.

To begin with, I’m open and honest. I’m not going to suggest you need something if you don’t need it and I’m not going to overcharge you. I’m also not going to bamboozle you with jargon. Websites can be confusing enough when you don’t know much about them, so I’ll always keep things simple.
I’m friendly and approachable (apart from when my kids have woken me up multiple times a night…🤪) and I’m always happy to help. I strive for perfection in everything that I do and I won’t cut corners to get a project finished.
I won’t just focus on making your website look good (it will look really good though), I’ll be making sure it aligns perfectly with your business goals and is designed super strategically to help you level-up and get to where you want to be in your business.
