Dr Anna Colton is a clinical psychologist, media consultant, author and podcast host, with regular appearances on This Morning, ITV News and the BBC.
Anna’s previous website had become outdated and, given the huge variety of work that she’s involved in, none of it was showcased on the website. Her career, knowledge and expertise is beyond that of most people in her niche, but her website was saying otherwise.
She wanted to bring her website into 2026, creating a really modern, beautiful website that was easy to navigate and that showcased all of her skills and expertise, as well as the media appearances and services she offered. She wanted her website to feel more like her.
Anna chose the Stella design as the foundation.

There are loads of other website developers out there. Why did you choose to work with Studio Emm?
Personal recommendation - websites are a minefield - and then when I looked at the recommendations and websites of those designers recommended I really liked yours. Then we spoke and I likewise really liked you, felt we were a fit and you had availability. All winners!
How did you feel before we started working together? What problems did you have and what made you want a new website?
I didn't like my old website. I felt it wasn't quite me and I didn't like the photos! I wanted something a bit cleaner and more modern. I knew divvying my site up so that it was comprehensible and easy to understand with all the various bits and bobs I do wasn't the most straightforward and I always feel trepidatious with anything tech!
How have you found the process from start to finish?
Jen was fab and super patient, which I really appreciated as I was aware it took longer than expected and I wasn't quite as on top of everything as I'd thought. The process was really straightforward and that's all thanks to you.
How do you feel you and your business will benefit from having this new website?
It will represent me better with all my weird bits!
What would you tell someone who was considering working with Studio Emm for their new website?
